Beast Dazatsu but it’s Bsd Dazai getting sent to a different world and immediately trying to woo Beast Atsushi.

Beast Dazai isn’t pleased by this at all but the memory shit goes both ways (surprise) and Bsd Dazai hates him with the wrath of a thousand suns.

And has decided that this Atsushi (like all Atsushi’s) deserves better then this edge lord version of himself.

Thus his plan to woo him.

Beast Atsushi is weirded out that any version of the Boss would be this nice without ulterior motives.

It’s nice though.

Going insane rn because why did BEAST Chuuya stay? Why did Dazai need him in that universe? I feel like I've never questioned it, because it's Chuuya and Dazai; of course they're always a pair. But narratively speaking, why did Chuuya stay? What is with all that vitriol and rage, the promise to kill Dazai one day for some unknown reason? It translates so well into this alternate universe because, in a way, it's one of the only things to remain consistent with reality that it's easy to miss.

But god, I just—what was the reason for Chuuya's involvement when he's not even a part of that story in the first place? Unless Dazai, even if it was BEAST Dazai, just wanted or even needed him to be there... for no other reason than to simply exist by his side... because aside from Oda, Chuuya is the one person the original Dazai does not have anymore........

Concept:

The most unrealistic part about Bsd Beast is that that Bsd Dazai’s mind can be read.

Like at all.

This man can control his heart beat to the point he can encode messages into it.

But I’m supposed to believe that he didn’t put any kind of precautions in place to stop interdemensional telepahy?

Uh huh sure okay.

Everything Beast Dazai knows about the book comes from Bsd Dazai so he would’ve known other Dazai’s exist throughout different realities.

He’s the original of course they’re going to try to make contact with him in a sneaky way.

You’re telling me that Mr I’m 10 steps ahead of the universe itself wasn’t prepared for that???

I don’t buy it.

And no I don’t think having his thoughts read was part of his plan or anything.

Because Dazai knows himself and I’m sure he can guess what his other selves would do with that information.

That shit needs to stay under a lock and key.

Granted by that logic any thing he could’ve done to protect his mind and encode his thoughts could be deciphered by another Dazai.

But like I need a version of Bsd Beast where Beast Dazai is just trying to read Bsd Dazai’s memories and can’t make sense of anything.

Bonus if it’s Beast Chuuya who figures it out because I know your every move goes both ways.

And in this world he’s the one who’s spent every moment for 7 years figuring out how to kill the Boss.

But because of the rules Beast Chuuya can’t know so Beast Dazai has to somehow get him to figure it out while not telling him what it is.

It would be such a mess.
